Quick Summary

Beehive Broadband can close your service on the next business day, while its equipment deadline runs for seven business days after termination. A modem, leased router, or set-top box left behind can add charges to the final bill.

  • Call 800-615-8021 or email [email protected]
  • Submit the request before close of business for a next-business-day termination date
  • Confirm which services will end and the exact effective date
  • Check the agreement on your account before accepting a cancellation charge
  • Get an assigned-equipment list and instructions for portable gear and any mounted ONT
  • Return Beehive equipment within seven business days and keep proof

Your signed agreement decides the cancellation cost. Beehive’s current residential Broadband Facts labels show no contract and a $0 early termination fee. The general terms require customers with a contract period to pay its remaining balance, and a separate network-owner contract may carry its own terms.

How to Cancel

Beehive’s terms accept termination requests by phone, email, U.S. mail, or fax. Use one of its published contact points:

  • Phone: 800-615-8021
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Mail: Beehive Broadband, 2000 Sunset Road, Lake Point, Utah 84074

Call when you need an immediate answer about the account, or use email for a dated record. Beehive publishes no current fax number. A mailed request starts the timing rule when Beehive receives it.

A request received before close of business gets a termination date of the next business day. Ask when Beehive logged the request and which date will appear as the service end date.

Have these details ready:

  • Account holder name, account number, and service address
  • Services you want to end or keep
  • Preferred termination date
  • Beehive equipment at the property

Beehive provides account information only to the registered holder and authorized users. If the account is in someone else’s name, have that person make the request or confirm that you are already authorized.

Before the conversation ends, confirm:

  • Effective date for every canceled service
  • Governing agreement and any remaining balance
  • Recurring-charge cutoff and final-bill calculation
  • Assigned-equipment list, return method, and retrieval instructions
  • Written confirmation, if available

For a partial bundle cancellation, name every service that should end and every service that should remain. BEEtv requires qualifying Beehive internet, so ask what happens to the TV service before canceling the internet plan that supports it. Confirm the new price for anything you keep.

Tip: After a phone request, send a same-day recap to [email protected] with the services canceled, effective date, and equipment instructions. Keep that message with your final bill and return receipt.

What It Costs

Beehive’s September 2025 Cedar Highlands residential agreement is month-to-month. Its residential Broadband Facts labels say no contract is required and list a $0 early termination fee.

Other accounts may fall under Beehive’s general Terms and Conditions. A customer still inside a contract period must pay the remaining balance on cancellation; Beehive adds it to the final bill, due on receipt. If a representative quotes that charge, ask for the exact plan or signed agreement and an itemized calculation.

UTOPIA customers have two possible agreements to check. Beehive says its own service on UTOPIA is month-to-month, while UTOPIA may require a separate contract.

Customers on a term contract have one narrow outage exception. Beehive allows penalty-free cancellation when service interruptions total more than 24 hours in a month. Gather the outage dates, durations, and trouble records before requesting the waiver.

Beehive bills at the beginning of each month, but its public terms do not spell out a universal proration formula for voluntary cancellations. Ask when recurring charges stop, whether unused days receive a credit, and how Beehive calculated the final amount.

Equipment Return

The seven-business-day deadline covers Beehive-owned equipment. Depending on the account, that list can include:

  • Modem and leased router
  • BEEtv set-top box
  • Optical network terminal (ONT)
  • Standard mounting equipment and assigned accessories

Start with the equipment list attached to your account. Set aside the portable devices, then ask about anything mounted to the building. Beehive’s agreement allows the company to retrieve its property from the premises, so get handling or pickup instructions before touching an ONT or other fixed equipment.

Return portable equipment within seven business days using the instructions for your account. The public agreement gives no single drop-off or shipping route and no flat non-return fee. It allows Beehive to charge full retail cost or repair and replacement, plus the cost of recovering the equipment.

Photograph each portable device, its condition, and its serial number. Keep the drop-off receipt, shipping record, or pickup confirmation until the account shows no equipment balance.

UTOPIA customers should also track the equipment deposit. Beehive says it may apply the deposit to an unpaid balance or return it within four to six weeks after cancellation.

After You Cancel

Check that every requested service stops on the confirmed date. When the final bill arrives, review:

  • Service dates and recurring charges
  • Any contract-period balance and the agreement behind it
  • Returned-equipment status and charges
  • New pricing for services that remain active
  • UTOPIA equipment-deposit handling, if applicable

Match the bill against your cancellation record and equipment proof. Keep everything together until the balance is settled and any deposit has been resolved.

Use 800-615-8021 or [email protected] for a billing or equipment dispute. Include the effective date, disputed line item, equipment serial numbers, and return or pickup record in the follow-up.

Common Problems

Problem Solution
You cannot find a cancellation option in SmartHub Call 800-615-8021 or email [email protected]. SmartHub is documented for account access and bill payment; use a channel accepted in Beehive’s termination terms for cancellation.
The account is in someone else’s name Have the registered holder make the request or use an authorized user. Beehive limits account information to the holder and authorized users.
You need service to end quickly Submit the request before close of business, ask Beehive to confirm receipt, and get the next-business-day effective date.
Beehive quotes a contract balance despite the current $0 ETF labels Ask for the exact signed plan or agreement and an itemized calculation. Current labels show $0, while general, legacy, partner, or network-owner terms may differ.
You want to cancel internet but keep BEEtv or phone Name every service to end and keep, then confirm eligibility and the new price. BEEtv requires qualifying Beehive internet.
You do not know which equipment must go back Request the assigned-equipment list. Separate portable devices from a mounted ONT or fixed gear, and ask whether Beehive will retrieve anything from the property.
The seven-business-day deadline is approaching Follow the return instructions Beehive gave you, photograph each serial number, and keep the drop-off, shipping, or pickup record.
An equipment charge appears after you returned the devices Match the charge against the assigned list, serial-number photos, and return or pickup proof. Dispute the charge by phone or email with those records.
The final bill covers more service than expected Ask Beehive to identify the effective date, recurring-charge cutoff, and any contract-period balance. Its public terms provide no universal voluntary-cancellation proration formula.
A term contract had extended outages Total the interruption time for the month. When it exceeds 24 aggregate hours, ask Beehive to apply the penalty-free cancellation clause in its terms.
